Consulting and Management Services

One of two trucks built for TV Nova in Prague, Czech Republic. Originally designed as OB vans, DBS incorporated live newsgathering capabilities, including masts, microwave transmission and communications. DBS also assisted with establishing the receive site. TV Nova has enjoyed remarkable success in Central Europe, due in part to their commitment to live news and event coverage.

 DBS contributes its expertise to the global market with consulting and management services. Whether assisting with the first privately owned fly-away system in Japan, or bringing New York-style live newsgathering capabilities to Central Europe, our unique experience has aided the rapidly changing and evolving television industry throughout the world.

Working closely with the finest manufacturers, DBS has developed a European newsvan that can be locally serviced, is economical to operate and takes advantage of the foremost equipment in electronic newsgathering by combining proven components from the US and elsewhere.

In addition to newsvan design and supervision, DBS also assists with receive site selection, production communications, and training.

DBS provides consulting to develop and incorporate resources for domestic and international projects. For broadcasters wishing to outsource management services on a continuum or for one-time events, DBS is capable of integrating all aspects, efficiently and cost-effectively, either within or outside the broadcast environment.
